how it works

From install to "how was today, sir?" — four quiet steps.

Loryn is what happens when a trade journal stops needing you to do anything for it. You install once, sign into Tradovate like you always do, and the journal fills itself. Then you talk to it.

1

Install the Loryn Chrome extension

The extension lives in your browser and listens to the same Tradovate WebSocket your platform is already using. No screen-scraping, no API keys to manage, no separate broker integration to keep up to date.

  • Chrome (or any Chromium-based browser — Brave, Edge, Arc, Opera).
  • About 30 seconds to install. Zero configuration.
  • No mobile — Loryn is desktop-only, on purpose. The journal needs the screen.
2

Sign into Tradovate the way you always do

Open Tradovate in any tab and trade normally. The extension doesn't see your password, never sees your Tradovate JWT, and never touches your sessions. It only watches the fill events that come through the public WebSocket your own platform listens to.

  • One Tradovate login. Loryn handles every account under it.
  • Built around the way Apex traders run sixteen accounts at once — but it works the same for one account.
  • You can trade with Loryn closed. Captures still go to the queue.
3

Your trades show up in the journal — automatically

Each fill lands in your journal within a few seconds of clearing on Tradovate. Loryn matches buys to sells into round trips, computes P&L per account, builds the day's view, and updates your equity curve as you trade.

  • Multi-account aware. Mirrored copy-trade setups are first-class.
  • MNQ tick math, contract multipliers, prop-firm thresholds — all built in.
  • Your strategy doctrine grades itself against the fills as they land.
4

Talk to Loryn about it

Loryn is the AI assistant that lives inside the journal. She knows your trading data, remembers across sessions, and has a voice. You can type or talk. She reads back what happened, holds you to your own rules, and reflects when you ask her to.

  • "How was today, sir?" / "What killed me on Wednesday?"
  • "Add a rule: max three trades a session." She tracks it against your fills.
  • Voice mode for hands-free during the trading day.
